About

I'm from the green, coffee obsessed, weird city of Portland, Ore., transplanted to Los Angeles for college, and now live in Baltimore, MD. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Print and Digital Journalism, I am a freelance writer and designer. Whatever the media, I'm passionate about telling stories that matter in a thoughtful and engaging way. I've written a weekly entertainment article, The Weekender, for USC's online news website Neon Tommy. I have interned in editorial with Urbanite Baltimore and Baltimore Magazine, in design with Los Angeles Magazine and in PR with the Discovery Channel. I'm passionate about photography (my flickr), enjoy the creative stimulation of thoughts and images (my tumblr), enjoy the outdoors, and love writing. I hope you enjoy my blog.
